Our History

The Immanuel Mar Thoma Central School (The School) was established by the decision of the general body meeting of the Immanuel Mar Thoma Church, Eraviperoor (IMTC) in the year 1979. The School was begun at the Podippara Mar Thoma Sunday School, owned by the IMTC and was later shifted to the ground floor of Immanuel Mar Thoma parish hall. The efforts taken by the parish general body to establish permanent building for The School became successful because of the generous financial and moral support of the members of IMTC. The land and buildings of the parish were given on lease to The Immanuel Mar Thoma Church Socio-Economic and Educational Society, Eraviperoor in the year 2005.
The School marked its presence in the society by ensuring qualitative education and values to its students all through these years. The commitment and dedication of the directors, principals, teaching and non-teaching staff of The School during various times proved that their talents to imbibe quality, courage and values in the minds of students was commendable.
That is the success story of Immanuel Mar Thoma Central School.
